Japanese Cryptocurrency Exchange Zaif Compromised by Hackers, $59.7 Million Stolen

PRTimes.jp is reporting that approximately 7.7 billion yen ($59.7 million USD) has been stolen from Japanese cryptocurrency exchange Zaif.

According to a local report, as a result of a security breach on September 14, hackers managed to steal 4.5 billion yen from users hot wallets, as well as 2.2 billion yen from the assets of the company
